Obituary

Mamie Etna Bracewell, 88, of Nashville, died Saturday March 23, 2019 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born December 13, 1930 in Berrien County to the late Jessie Aaron Rowan and the late Lola Hall Rowan. She worked at Metal Products in Adel, Nashville Mills, was secretary for Bracewell Garage and retired from Nashville Textile. She was a member of Flat Creek Church and she loved her family, her church and mostly her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Lola Diane Bracewell; son-in-law: Donald McCorvey; 5 sisters: Ora Mae Roland, Minnie Roland, Inez Jones, Lourine Roland, Flora Bell Hendley and Bessie Mashburn; 2 brothers: Clarence Rowan and J.A. "Jill" Rowan, Jr.

She is survived by 3 daughters: Deborah McCorvey of Nashville, Donna Whitley of Chula and Darlene (Darian) Murray of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Denise (Steven) Skinner of Nashville, Shae (Joseph) Pritchard of Griffin, Chad (Susan) Clanton of Nashville and Kent Beam of Savannah; 5 great grandchildren: Sara Grace Skinner, J. Stanton Pritchard, Sydnee Pritchard, Morgan Clanton and Cutler Pritchard; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 26, 2019 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Rev. Blair Joiner officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 7 to 9 PM.
