Margaret Ann Barton, 67, of Nashville, died Friday December 20, 2019 at South Georgia Medical Center.

She was born January 10, 1952 in Lakeland, FL to the late Charles Lewis Grant and the late Margaret Whitfield Grant. She was a homemaker and member of Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister: Jane Grant and a brother: Charles David Grant.

She is survived by her husband: Michael Joyce Barton of Nashville; 2 sons: Joshua (Joely) Chaney of  Gentry,  AR and Joel (Rory)  Chaney of Hazlehurst; step daughter: Stephanie Guriere of Port St. Lucie, FL; step son:  Michael Sean Barton of Virginia, 6 grandchildren: Tyler (Holly) Chaney, Laura Kate Chaney, Chloe (Trent) Phillips, Caleb Chaney, Brooklyn Chaney, Alec Grant Chaney and 2 step grandchildren: Christopher Guriere and Alexander Guriere.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 23, 2019 at 11 am in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Richard McNair officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Sunday from 5 to 7 pm.
