Obituary

Margaret Tyson, 96, of Nashville, died Wednesday January 6, 2021 at Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born on August 13, 1924 in Monterey, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of Nashville United Methodist Church where she sang in the Chancel Choir. She was referred to as the Mayor of Cottle. She was the widow of John Raymond "Tetterbug" Tyson Jr., who died in 1991. She as also preceded in death by 2 daughters: Pam Brantley and Beth Brantley-Davenport.

She is survived by 2 sons: Ray (Lilly) Tyson of Nashville and Bill (Angie) Tyson of Nashville; son-in-law: Sid Brantley; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday January 10, 2021 at 2:30 PM in the Long Bridge Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Ellis officiating. Visitation is Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
