Marianne Kyle Moore Cofield, 72, of Nashville, died Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Marianne was born September 25, 1952 in Indiana, PA to the late James Moore and the late Eileen Barb Moore. She attended Clemson University spending her young adult years in Colorado and Washington DC before settling in Georgia where she met her husband, Doug. The couple wed on May 6, 1978, and began their 45 years in Gwinnett County, Georgia where they raised their daughters, Melanie & Katie. Marianne retired from the Bass Pro Shop and made the move with Doug to Nashville, GA to be closer to family. She was a lover of nature, music, and art. A collector of all things. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister: Jean Moore Smith; and 3 brothers: Thomas Moore, James Moore, and Frank Moore.
She is survived by her husband: Doug Cofield of Nashville, GA; 2 daughters: Melanie Cofield (Amy Moreland) of Austin, TX; Katie (Jeremy) Wetherington of Nashville, GA and their 3 children: Parker James, Josie Wetherington, and Ivy Wetherington; sister and life-long best friend Eileen Bennett of Ameila Island, FL; 2 brothers: Jon Moore of Atlanta, GA and Dennis Moore of Carlsbad, CA.
The family will be receiving friends Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 4 to 6 PM at Lovein Funeral Home in Nashville, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.cff.org).
