Emma Marie Holbrook, 90, of Nashville, died Sunday October 10, 2021, at her residence.
She was born January 28, 1931 in Berrien County to the late James Steve Rogers and the late Emma Lewis Rogers. She was a retired seamstress with Nashville Textile and a member of New Fellowship Church. She was a lifetime member of VFW Ladies Auxillary and was the widow of James Edward Holbrook She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Sandra Loveless; 4 sisters: Hazel Spells, Catherine McMillan, Mildred Taylor and Dot Mathis; 3 brothers: Rudolph Rogers, Donald Rogers and Elwood Rogers.
She is survived by her daughter: Brenda Butler of Nashville; 2 sons: Johnny (Toni) Holbrook of Nashville and Ronnie (Travis) Taylor of Lake Placid, FL; sister: Helen Davis of Nashville; 6 grandchildren: Nalda (Johnny) Johnson, Patrick (Jessica) Loveless, Eddie (Buffy) Holbrook, Josh (Lisa) Taylor, Crystal (Bruce) Clisby and Becky Holbrook and 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 12, 2021 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
