Marilyn Faye King, 84, of Enigma, died Tuesday March 17, 2015 in the Tift Regional Medical Center.

She was born November 3, 1930 in Lanier County to the late John W. Weaver and the late Irene Guthrie Weaver. She was a homemaker and member of the Enigma Baptist Church. She was the widow of Clifton Jacob King who died in 1999 and also preceded in death by a son, Joey King who died in 2013.

She is survived by a daughter: Vicki Mayville of Valdosta; 2 sons: Larry (Joan) King of Athens and Terry (Tammy) King of Enigma; daughter-in-law: Mary Kyle King of Enigma; sister: Jan Devane of Valdosta; brother: Wayne Weaver of Tallahassee, FL; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday March 19, 2015 at 2 PM in the Enigma Baptist Church with the Rev. Pete Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Tift Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
