Marjorie Lou Glatz, 70, of Ray City, died Tuesday January 31, 2012 at her residence.
She was born May 19, 1941 in Union City, Pa to the late Hibbert Swann and the late Ruth Elizabeth Freed. She was a homemaker. She was of the Roman Catholic faith and attended Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Lakeland. She was the widow of James Jacob Glatz who died in 2009, and was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Norman (Doris) Swann and Jim (Rose) Shaw.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Deborah Braswell of Ray City and Robin Harper of Nashville; 2 sons: James J. Glatz, Jr. of Ray City and Raymond George of Ray City; 3 step daughters: Kathy Lindsey of Ranch, Ca, Teresa Glatz of Corry Pa, and Mary Glatz of Tifton; 2 step sons: Theodore Glatz of Clymer, NY, and Darin Glatz of Corry, Pa; 2 brothers: Henry Swann of Corry, Pa and George (Martie) Swann of Erie, Pa; 31 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday February 3, 2012 at 2 PM in the New Ramah Cemetery with Father Freddie Angel officiating. Visitation is Friday from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM.
