Obituary

Marjorie Ruth Hudson, 83, of Nashville, died Monday April 24, 2017 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born February 25, 1934 in Berrien County to the late Lacy Johnson and the late Vesta Lee Stallings. She was a homemaker and a retired case worker with the Department of Family and Children Services. She was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was active in WMU. She was also a member of the New Lois Community Club and New Lois Pine Needle Sewing Club. She loved singing, spending time with her children and grandchildren and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husbands: William Edward Nash who died in 1962 and James Nathaniel Hudson who died in 1982.

She is survived by her daughter: Sheryl (Hank) Franklin of Nashville; 2 sons: Dr. Donnie (Rhonda) Nash of Nashville and Dale Nash of Nashville; brother: Billy Jack Johnson of Sparks; sister: Nelda Widdowson of Baltimore, MD; 13 grandchildren: Tommy Nash, Beth Nash, Becky Nash, Kelly Franklin, Kayla Franklin, Travis Franklin, Bailey Nash (Shawn) Mathis, William (Michelle) Nash, John Nash, Cameron Nash, Brock Nash, Kalen Dillingham and Lauren Dillingham; 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday April 27 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Howard and Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers make contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
