Marlon Harris, 64, of Alapaha died Thursday, June 5, 2025, at his residence.

He was born January 7, 1961, in Berrien County to the late Bobby D. Harris and Altie Luke Harris. He loved spending quality time with family and friends. He was associated with Harvey's Supermarket as a meat market manager and was a deacon at Alapaha Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, raising livestock, mechanic work and staying busy no matter what it was. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law: Jimmie Middlebrooks.

He is survived by his wife: Tammy Walker Harris of Alapaha; 3 sons: Bobby (Katelyn) Harris of Alapaha, Kevin (Ashley) Harris of Alapaha and Josh (Katie) Harris of Nashville; 8 grandchildren: Alexis, Oliver, Rhett, Gabby, Eli, Haze, Kisun and Henry; mother: Altie Luke Harris of Alapaha; 2 sisters: Freida Middlebrooks of Alapaha and Patty (Jimmy) Anderson of Trion; brother: Lamar (June) Harris of Alapaha; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, at 11 AM at Alapaha Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Mallard and Rev. Keith Purvis officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday night from 6-8 PM in the funeral home.
