Obituary

Marrlon Tucker, 79, of Nashville, died Wednesday July 26, 2023 in the Langdale Hospice House.

He was born April 20, 1944 in Berrien County to the late Ernest Tucker and the late Nellie Vernell Stone Tucker. He was a retired machine mechanic with Nashville Mills, with 30 years of service. He was a member of Providence Pointe Church and was a past deacon at Nashville Holiness Church. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved his garden. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Nettie Mae Brady, Ernestine Graham and Martha Nell Smith; brother: Melvin Tucker.

He is survived by his wife: Sally Rentz Tucker of Nashville; 3 daughters: Michelle (Daniel) Cook of Mobile, AL, Pat (John) Studstill of Nashville and Missy Hendley of Pennsylvania; 3 grandchildren: Lorin Cook, Eden (Ben) Wrick and Portia (Patrick) McCann; 4 great grandchildren: Mila Wrick, Kael Wrick, Hudson Williford and Logan Williford; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Friday July 28, 2023 at 3 PM in the Providence Pointe Church with the Rev. Doug Cersey and Rev. Chris Casselman officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday one hour prior to the service in the church.
