Martha Skinner's Obituary
Martha Skinner, 66, of Nashville, died Monday April 13, 2015 at her residence.
She was born May 10, 1948 in Tift County to the late Harry Hiers and the late Lillian Elizabeth Tucker. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband: Goldrick "Jack" Wheeler who died in 1988. She is also preceded in death by 3 sisters: Mildred Castleberry, Louise Lane and Dorothy Gray.
She is survived by her husband: Curtis Skinner, Jr of Nashville; 2 sons: Dr. Ricky Wheeler of Nashville and Roger Clark of Macon; daughter: Carol Strout of Nashville; sister: Elizabeth Taylor of West Berrien; 2 brothers: Harvey Hiers of Nashville and Ronnie Hiers of Nashville; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday April 16, 2015 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Cason officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakey Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday one hour prior to the service.
