Another bright light faded from this Earth.  Marvin Murphy, of Nashville passed away on October 25, 2019, at 67 years of age.  He loved his family beyond measure.  He truly met no strangers; he loved and was kind to everyone he came into contact with.  He loved being called upon when anyone needed help of any kind.  He loved God and his actions showed it.  He was a beautiful soul.

He was preceded in death by his son: Joshua Murphy.  He was also preceded in death by his mom: Rebecca Murphy; his dad: Marvin Murphy, Jr.; brother: Jerry Murphy; father-in-law: James Shivers.  He is survived by his wife: Connie Murphy; son: Adam (Jenna) Murphy; 3 grandchildren: Bailie, Ansen and Caulder Murphy; mother: Evelyn Carter; sister: Wanda Carter; brother: Ronnie (Rosie) Murphy; mother-in-law: Clara Shivers; two sister-in-laws: Charlene Futch and Elisa (Todd) Heath; several nieces and nephews and a host of loving friends.

Marvin Requested he be cremated and that there be no viewing or funeral.  We are honoring his wishes.  We thank God for every second we had him.  Marv, go rest high on that mountain; your work on Earth is done.
