Marvin Edwin O'Neal, 83, of Nashville, died Tuesday April 21, 2015 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
He was born August 18, 1931 in Tift County to the late William Benjamin "W.B." O'Neal and the late Ida Belle Owens O'Neal. He retired as MSGT with the United States Air Force after 23 years of service where he worked as a quality control jet engine mechanic and also served in Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Moody Masonic Lodge #719. He was preceded in death by a sister: Frances Carter and a brother: Gene O'Neal.
He is survived by his wife: Eldora Flancher O'Neal of Nashville; 2 daughters: Brenda (Randy) McCorvey of Nashville and Donna Bell of Nashville; 3 sons: Steve (Ruth) O'Neal of Nashville, Tim (Pam) O'Neal of Hahira and Don (Sharon) O'Neal of Hahira; sister: Gladys (Ronnie) Greer of Americus; 12 grandchildren: Kristi, Steven, Jenny, Derek, Jake, Jason, Chad, Daniel, Hollie, Kristifer, Anna Grace and Caleb; 7 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 24, 2015 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott King officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.. In lieu of flowers make contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O.
