Mary "Molly" Brogdon's Obituary
Mary "Molly" Brogdon, 87, of Alapaha died Monday June 25, 2012 in the Coffee Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 15, 1925 in Berrien County to the late Isom Swilley and the late Mary Sherrod. She was a homemaker and retired administrator for Open Door School. She was a member of the Open Door Mission in Alapaha and was the widow of John Lucious Brogdon.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Tonnie White of West Green and Betty Buttram of Tampa, FL; 2 brothers: Billy Bruce of Tampa, FL and Jimmy Bruce of Tampa, FL.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 28, 2012 at 11 AM in the Open Door Mission with the Rev. Kenny Greenway officiating. Interment will follow in the Glory Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday one hour prior to services.
Flowers are asked to be omitted and her request was that memorials be made to Open Door Mission at 123 Open Door School Road, Alapaha, GA 31622.
