Mary Louise Fountain, 69, of Adel, died Tuesday September 28, 2021, in Southern Senior Retirement.

She was born May 1, 1952 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Samuel Junior Cox and the late Wilhelmina Simmons Cox. She worked in medical records as a transcriptionist with Berrien County Hospital for over 25 years. She was a member of Calvary Temple, where she worked with the youth ministries for years, served as church secretary and played the flute. She was the widow of Gerald Max "Jerry" Fountain who died in 1998 and her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter: Jennifer (Tony) Green of Hahira; 3 grandchildren: Samantha, Tate and Claire; 2 sisters: Betty (Joe) Paez of Springhill, FL and Marjorie (Richard) Harris of Orange Park, FL; brother: John Cox of Ocilla; 2 sisters-in-law: Brenda (Stanley) Gaskins of Nashville and Teresa Pilcher of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday October 1, 2021 at 2 PM in Westview Cemetery with Rev. Ann Smith officiating. There will not be a formal visitation.
