Mary Heath Griner, 84, of Alapaha died Wednesday October 28, 2015 at her residence.
She was born March 27, 1931 in Berrien County to the late Clifton Heath and the late Rosa Fender Heath. She was a retired teacher with the Berrien County Board of Education and was the widow of Olen Griner who died in 1983. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers William, Clifton, and Johnny Heath; a sister: Melba Ray.
She is survived by a daughter: Deborah (Donald) Foster of Dacula; 3 sons: Larry (Gwen) Griner of Alapaha, Darrell (Christine) Griner of Alapaha, and Billy (Tina) Griner of Alapaha; 2 sisters: Linda Hall of Alapaha and Jean Strickland of Jacksonville, FL; 3 brothers: Thomas Heath and Elwood Heath of Alapaha and Elton Heath of Ray City; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday October 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Stone and Rev. Garvey Nichols, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 PM.
