Obituary

Mary Lee Jones, 89, of Nashville, died Sunday April 17, 2022 at the Fellowship Home in Nashville.

She was born January 26, 1933 in Berrien County to the late James Huey McLellan and the late Alma Pafford McLellan. She was a homemaker, licensed beautician and worked at Nashville Textile for many years. She was a member of Vickers Church, attended Flat Creek Church and was very involved with the VFW Ladies Auxillary. She was the widow of John Monroe Jones, Jr who died in 2011 and was also preceded in death by a daughter: Johnnie Sue Connell; brother: Edwin McLellan.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Donna (Mel) Browning of Nashville and Faye (Larry) Witt of Nashville; 8 grandchildren: Michael (Jennifer) Jones, Melanie Thompson, Becky (Adam) Frischkorn, Matthew Browning, Mitchell Browning, Nicole (Gregg) Luke, Perryn (Scott) Vickers and Shawn Witt; 15 great grandchildren: Austin, Shelby, Drew, Kenneth, Drevin, Ayden, Brenna, Martie, Stanton, Kali, John Eller, Taylor, Madden, Rowan and Mazy.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 20, 2022 at 1 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
