Mary Ann Maxwell, 78, of Monticello, FL died Saturday February 17, 2018 at the Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, FL.
She was born November 24, 1939 in Fort Myers, Florida to the late Aubrey Carr and the late Lela Mae Bledsoe Carr. She was a homemaker, former secretary for Nashville First Baptist Church for 10 years and helped her husband operate Maxwell's Store in Tallahassee, FL where she was known by many as "Honey". She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monticello, FL.
She is survived by her husband: James Oswell Norman Maxwell of Monticello, FL; 3 daughters: Kim (Jon) Baker of Kinston, NC, Kristy (Mike) Parker of Valdosta and Beth (Jimmy) Garrett of Tallahassee, FL; 2 sons: Brian Maxwell of Charlotte, NC and Jon Maxwell of Tallahassee, FL; 3 sisters: Josephine Cornwall of Green Cove Springs, FL, Shirley Haire of Tifton and Linda Fleener of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 20, 2018 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Stokes officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
