Mary Lynn Mercer, 77, of Nashville, died Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Southwell Health & Rehabilitation in Adel.

She was born July 26, 1947, in Brooks County to the late Albert Touchton and the late Julia Vondean Loveless Touchton. She had been employed with the Brooks County Board of Education as a paraprofessional at Walker Street Elementary School and for many years, was a caregiver. She loved her family, gardening, pets and was a member of the Alapaha Church of God. She was the widow of Jack Mercer who died in 1982 and was also preceded in death by a sister: Sandy Hillhouse.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Jennifer (Silke) Dasher of Broomfield, CO and Angie Mercer of Nashville; son: Robbie (Barbara) Dasher of Nashville; step children: Robin (David) Carr, Pawnee (James) Anderson, Austin (Gail) Mercer and David Mercer, all of Macclenny, FL; sister: Margie Brantley of Nashville; brother: Tim Touchton of   Lenox:  2 grandchildren: Delaney (Hayes) Hancock of Nashville and Will (Ashli) Dasher of Lakeland; 3 great grandchildren: Trey, Paisley and Austen; several nieces and nephews.

Her family will honor request for cremation and a memorial service will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 11 AM in the Flat Creek Church.
