Mary Louise Nash, 90, of Ray City, died Tuesday July 8, 2025, at SGMC in Valdosta.
She was born January 14, 1935, in Berrien County to the late Alvin J. "Soda" Spurlock and the late Johnnie Rowe Spurlock. She retired from the cafeteria with Lowndes County Board of Education, worked at Dessa's Dress Shop in Nashville and Olan H. Luke in Valdosta. She loved her family, was the daycare center for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a member of King's Chapel. She loved working in the yard, working on the family farm, fishing and giving to others her plants and flowers.
She is survived by 5 sons: Johnny (Brenda) Nash of Hahira, Wayne (Tammy) Nash, Randy Nash, Jimmy (Dora) Nash, Travis (Jeri) Nash all of Ray City; 12 grandchildren: Jason (Tara) Nash, Austin (Wendy) Nash, Britney Nash, Bill (Dorothy Jo) Tyson, Dillon (Claire) Nash, Haley (Trip) Covington, Jackson Nash, Blake Nash, Kayla (Mike) Curington, Kevin Letchworth, Jason Letchworth and Kyle Letchworth; 9 great grandchildren: Ava Lee Nash, Carson Nash, Caroline Nash, Noah Tyson, Levi Tyson, Riley Curington, Jada Curington, Ellie Nash and Briggs Nash.
Funeral services will be held Thursday July 10, 2025, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott King officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaskins cemetery (South Bradford Rd, Ray City). Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
