Obituary

Mary Lou Sutton, 88, of Nashville, died Wednesday February 5, 2020 in the Langdale Hospice House.

She was born September 14, 1931 in Miami, FL to the late Loyd Lester Ackerman and the late Clare Veronica Steinhart Ackerman. She was a homemaker and a retired credit bureau controller. She was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU, senior adult activities and was a Sunday School teacher. She was the widow of Talmadge Sutton who died in 2018 and was also preceded in death by brother: Richard Ackerman; 3 sisters: Elinor Story, Joan Smith and Susan Ackerman.

She is survived by her daughter: Janie (Bruce) Ferraiuolo of Nashville; 2 sons: Kenneth (Janie) Sutton of Buford and David (Pam) Sutton of Nashville; sister: Barbara Ackerman of Miami, FL; brother: Loyd Lester Ackerman of Manchester, TN; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday February 7, 2020 at 3 pm in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
