Mary Ruth Winterburn, 82, of Nashville, died Thursday December 2, 2021 at her residence.

She was born October 21, 1939 in Berrien County to the late Mack Sirmans and the late Idella Brantley Sirmans. She was a bookkeeper with Combined Insurance Company in Atlanta and owned the Get-N-Go in Nashville. She was the widow of James Winterburn and was also preceded in death by a son: Jimmy Winterburn; sister: Aline Hiam.

She is survived by her daughter: Terry Lindsey (Mickey Sharpe) of Knoxville, TN; grandson: Larry Van (Amber) Lee, Jr of Atlanta; 4 sisters: Wilma Singletary of Howell, Willene Balfour of Plant City, FL, Tina Burkhalter of Ray City and Shirley Temples of Nashville; granddaughter: Ashley Winterburn of Quitman; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Her family will honor her request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
