Mattie Lou Sarao's Obituary
Mattie Lou Sarao, 93, of Nashville died Monday March 21, 2016 at her son's residence in Tifton.
She was born March 5, 1923 in Atkinson County to the late Andrew Jackson Rowe and the late Clara Ulee Beard Rowe. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of Conrad Sarao. She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her daughter: Alexis Blanchet of Nashville; son: Robert A. (Margaret) Gibbs of Tifton; 5 grandchildren: David Jernigan, Rachelle Mathis, Holly (Kenneth) Mathis, Miriam (John) Ethridge, and Karen (Clay) Griffin; 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 23, 2016 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Edgar Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in Turner Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday 7-9 PM.
