Melba Baldree's Obituary
Melba Baldree, 79, of Nashville died Monday February 23, 2015 in Tift Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 24, 1935 in Ellington, FL to the late Clarence Clanton and the late Thelma McNabb Clanton. She was homemaker and a retired clerk for the Berrien County Tax Commissioner. Melba and Gene were married for 60 years and she was a dedicated Air Force wife for 20 years. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Debra Baldree.
She is survived by her husband: Gene Baldree of Nashville; 2 daughters: Diane Williams of Marietta and Judy Bailey of Valdosta; son: Mike Baldree of Nashville; sister: Mable Byrd of Juliette; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. J.W. Dukes, III officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM.
