Obituary

Melba Jean Germany, 83, of Nashville, died Wednesday March 30, 2022 at SGMC in Valdosta.

She was born October 15, 1938 in Berrien County to the late Clarence Felton Griner and the late Cleo Emma Hughes Griner. She was a retired teller coordinator with Great Southern National Bank and was a member of the North Park Church of God in Meridian, MS. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband: Ralph Bernard Germany of Nashville; daughter: Mitzi (Neil) Yarbrough of Eufaula, AL; son: Rick (Cheryl) Johnson of Nashville; sister: Martha Jeanette Cain of Valdosta; 5 grandchildren: Miles (Samantha) Yarbrough, Emma Yarbrough, Whitney (Jesse) Skinner, Spencer Johnson and Diana Johnson; great grandson: Charlie Browning.

Her family will honor request for cremation and no formal services will be held. Memorials can be made to the Autism Speaks.
