Melissa Ann Pearson, 34, of Nashville, died Saturday January 12, 2019 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

She was born July 23, 1984 in Jacksonville, FL to Donald Crosby and the late Marian Finley. She was employed as a social worker with Intrepid Home Health.

She is survived by her husband: Chris Pearson of Nashville; 2 daughters: Emily Yarbrough of Yulee, FL and Ashley Pearson of Nashville; son: Drew Pearson of Buford; adopted parents: George and Linda Bridges of Fernandina Beach, FL; sister: Christina (Jesse) Peck of Yulee, FL; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Dave and Judy Maharrey of Starkville, MS.

The family will honor her request for cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
