Melvin Calvin "Mel" Harbin, 73, of Nashville died Wednesday November 11, 2009 at his residence.

He is survived by 4 daughters: Janice Lynn Rohme of Sacramento, Ca, Donna Robins of Winter Haven, Fl, Elizabeth Johnson of Smyrna, and Tiffany Harbin of Booneville, Mo; 3 sisters: Ruby Flowers, Betty Erickson, and Nell Erickson all of Nashville; brother: Clarence Harbin of Brunswick; 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandson. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Louise Wilcox and 2 brothers: Sam Harbin and Glenn Harbin.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 14, 2009 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday from 7 to 9 PM.
