Michael Wallace McLendon, 57, of Nashville died Wednesday August 5, 2015 at his residence.
He was born August 15, 1957 in Marietta to George and Mattie Stevens McLendon. He was a rigger for Chaparral Boats.
He is survived by his son: Michael Taylor(Lindsey) McLendon of Enigma; daughter: Dacia Cory Clark of Nashville; father: George McLendon of Nashville; mother: Mattie McLendon of Powder Springs; sister: Brenda McLendon of Nashville; 2 brothers: Steven McLendon of Acworth and Tommy McLendon of Nashville; 3 grandchildren: Cassandra Clark, Tayden Clark and Macon McLendon; 1 soon to be grandchild: Lukas McLendon; and numerous other relatives.
The family will honor his request with a cremation. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
