Mickey Lamar Gray, 64, of Nashville, died Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at his residence.

He was born September 14, 1961, in Lowndes County to the late James Lamar Gray and the late Mary Phillips Gray. He was employed with Chapparal Boats, as director of manufacturing, with 48 years of service. He loved his family, fishing and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his wife: Cara Renee McLendon Gray who died in 2024 and was also preceded in death by a daughter: Madison Taylor Gray; sister: Vickey Giddens; brother: Charlie Gray.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Chelsie Gray of Tifton, Cloe Gray and Lakin Gray both of Nashville; son: Tripp Gray of Nashville; sister: Susan Steverson of Alapaha; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Frank and Linda McLendon of Nashville; 4 sisters-in-law: Lynn Gray of Alapaha, Carmen (Mark) Peele of West Berrien, Christie (Mitch) Long of Raleigh, NC and Cari Reynolds of Nashville; brother-in-law: Wayman Giddens of West Berrien; several nieces and nephews.

His family will honor request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
