Philip Michael "Mike" Jilcott, 76, of Nashville, died Monday September 26, 2022 at his residence.

He was born September 26, 1946 in Tarboro, NC to the late George Robert Jilcott and the late Mary Frances Lassiter. He retired MSGT aircraft mechanic with the United States Air Force after 22 years of service and also worked as a supervisor with J.H. Harvey Company for 19 years. He was a member of Forest Hill Free Will Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife: Bonnie Bennett Jilcott who died on August 25, 2022. He was also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Ann Hasty and Martha Jean Hall; brother: Ricky Jilcott.

He is survived by 3 sons: Michael Jilcott of Nashville, Duane (Jennifer) Jilcott of Nashville and J.B. Jilcott of Nashville; daughter: Brittney (Andrew) Burtschin of Moultrie; 4 grandchildren: Johnnie Jilcott, Bobby Jilcott, Macy Rogers and Jeremiah Jilcott; 3 great grandchildren: Scarlet Rogers, Toby Rogers and Wallace Rogers; 2 sisters: Margie (Roland) Hodges of North Carolina and Joanne Janney of North Carolina; brother: Bud Jilcott of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews.

His family will honor request for cremation and no formal services will be held.
