Dennis Mikell Rowan, 69, of Nashville, died Saturday February 5, 2022 at his residence.

He was born July 9, 1952 in Cook County to the late Jessie Aaron "Jill" Rowan, Jr and the late Evelyn Griffin Rowan. He was a retired property and pump maintenance director with Colonial Oil Co. He loved fishing and especially spending time at Keaton Beach with his family. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ricky Rowan and Allen Rowan.

He is survived by his wife: Carrie Marie Tindell Rowan of Nashville; son: Philip (Stephanie) Rowan of Nashville; daughter: Angela Warren of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Corey (Kaylie) Rowan, Andrew (Lindsey) Rowan, Lisa Warren and Dallas Rowan; 3 great grandchildren he loved dearly; Luke Rowan, Lexi Jo Rowan and Kashton Rowan; 2 special family members: Holly (Hunner) Taylor and Maddie Griffin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday February 8, 2022 at 4 PM in the Abundant Life Church with the Rev. Daniel Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the Long Bridge Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
