John Millard Ford, 73, of Nashville, died Friday January 6, 2023 at his residence.

He was born August 3, 1949 in Starke, FL to the late John Newton Ford and the late Beulah Josephine Luke Ford. He was a farmer, owner of Ford Construction, loved his garden and sharing with others. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and was preceded in death a sister: Sylvia Dorminey; brother: Donald Ford and a nephew: Damon Ford.

He is survived by his wife: Jean Ford of Nashville; 2 sons: Brad (Penny) Ford of Nashville and Daniel (Stacie) Ford of Nashville; 5 grandchildren: Cam Ford, Jesse Ford, Shelby Ford, Joe Ford and Johnny Ford; 4 sisters: Carolyn (Raymond) Roland of Nashville, Sandra (Billy) Webb of Ray City, Arinda Kennedy of Tifton and Jo Ford of Tifton; brother: Henry (Anita) Ford of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 10, 2023 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke, Rev. Stan Stalvey and Rev. J.W. Dukes III officiating. Interment will follow in the Ford Family cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
