Mittie Ruth Bennett Lott, 87, of Donalsonville died Monday September 16, 2013 in the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
She was born February 12, 1926 in Lenox to the late Joseph Asbury Bennett and the late Mittie Hodges. She was a homemaker and attended Reynoldsville Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Lott; sons: Charles Leroy Lott and Jerry Alvin Lott; 1 grandson: Kendall Blake Lott; brother: Joseph Jack Bennett; 3 sisters: Betty Bass, Carolyn Templeton, and Libby McDonald.
She is survived by her son: Billy Joe (Judy) Lott of Macon; daughter Deborah (Steve) Brown of Valdosta; 1 brother: Earl "Buddy" Bennett of Crawfordville; 1 sister: Martha Birdwell of Byron; 4 grandchildren: Johnny (Allison) Brown; Stephanie Lott; Paul Brown; 2 great grandchildren: Tripp and Landon Brown.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday September 20, 2013 at 11:00 in Long Bridge Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating. Visitation will be on Friday one hour prior to the service.
