Myrle Arnold Wallace, 76, of Adel died Monday September 8, 2014 in the Cook Living Center.
He was born September 21, 1937 in Newnan, GA to the late Jason Wallace and the late Lessie Newborne. He was a salesman for Georgia Nut and Bolt Company of Atlanta, a U.S. Navy veteran and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a sister.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda McLendon Wallace of Adel; 2 step sons: Steven (Jeanette) Barker of Macon and Kevin (Amelia) Barker of Sparks; 3 step grandchildren: Jessica Barker, Christopher Barker, and Sean Barker; sister: Ann Daugherty of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will honor his request for a cremation. A memorial service will be held on Thursday September 11, 2014 at 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Dillard Ensley and Mr. Jackson Moore officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the American Heart Association or The Disabled American Veteran's.
