Nancy Ann McCranie, 85, of Nashville, died Tuesday July 19, 2022 at the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.

She was born July 11, 1937 in Cook County to the late James Robert Nix and the late Geneva Moore Nix. She was a retired clerk with the Berrien County Tax Assessor and member of the Brushy Creek Baptist Church. She was the widow of Verone McCranie who died in 1995 and was also preceded in death by a brother: Buck Nix.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Terri Brogdon of Nashville and Patti (Quinton) McMillan of Adel; son: Mike (Susan) McCranie of Nashville; sister: Dottie Griffin of Homerville; 10 grandchildren: Parker (Brittany Brady) Moore, Ivy (Jack) Lindsey, Kellie (A.C.) Welchel, Bree (Michael) Connell, Catherine McCranie, Hunter (Maria Sellars) Danforth, Brooke McMillan, Joe McCranie, Chase McMillan and Avri McMillan; 5 great grandchildren: John Thomas, Gencie, Mac, Piper and Slaton.

Funeral services will be held Friday July 22, 2022 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
