Obituary

Neil Manning Gaskins, 82, of Nashville died Monday October 12, 2020 at his residence.

He was born November 14, 1937 in Berrien County to the late Manning Gaskins and the late Ada Estelle Crosby Gaskins.  He retired from the woodshop at Chaparral Boats in 2010, co-owner of Gaskins Groceries and owner of Gaskins Abattoir. He was a member of Calvary Holiness Church, he loved gardening, farming and his family.  He was preceded in death by three brothers: Bobby Gaskins, Ronnie Gaskins and Dennis Gaskins; sister: Geraldine Swanson; son-in-law: Randy "Gomer" Futch.

He is survived by his wife: Ann Pafford Gaskins of Nashville; two daughter: Pam Futch of Nashville and Toni (Randy) Odom of Moultrie; five grandchildren: Darian (Tracy) Futch of Deland FL, Dusty Futch of Dayton, NV, Brandon Odom of Athens, Brian Odom of Moultrie and Brentley Odom of Moultrie; two great grandchildren: Jason Futch and Amanda Futch; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 14, 2020 at 3 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernon Hughes and Rev. Brad Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Tuesday from  6 to 8 PM.
