Sharon Wynelle "Nell" Chivers, 78, of Nashville, died Tuesday June 28, 2022 in the SGMC Berrien Campus.

She was born March 25, 1944 in Berrien County to the late James Wallace Newbern and the late Gladys Tucker Newbern.

She was a homemaker, beautician, and member of Flat Creek Church. She was preceded in death by a step granddaughter; Brooke Chivers and a brother: Buddy Newbern.

She is survived by her husband: William Don Chivers of Nashville; son: Koven (Janice) Luke of Adel; grandson: Kasey (Brooke) Luke; two great granddaughters; Hansley Faith Luke and Addie Leigh Luke; step son: Billy (Jennifer) Chivers of Nashville, TN; step daughter: Becky (Ted) Shuburt of Valdosta; two step grandsons: Scotty Shuburt and Teddy Shuburt.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday June 30, 2022 at 11 AM in the Flat Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Swain officiating. Visitation will be held in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.
