Don Nelson Hall, 79, of Nashville, died Monday December 28, 2020 at the Lake City VA Hospital in Lake City, FL.

He was born November 28, 1941 in Berrien County to the late William Lonnie Hall and the late Mary Rosalyn Vann Hall. He worked in shipping at Nashville Textile for many years, was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He was an Army veteran who served in Vietnam, where he received a Purple Heart and the Army Commendation Medals. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ky Hall and Justin Hall.

He is survived by 2 brothers: Fonzo (Jonny) Hall of Douglasville and Sammy (Janice) Hall of Nashville; sister-in-law: Shelby (Bob) McPherson of Blairsville; nieces and nephews: Curtis (Amber) Hall of Evansville, IN, Stuart Hall of Douglasville, Beth (Wade) Hand of Nashville, Lee Hall of Atlanta, Kayleigh Hall of Nashville, Nicole (Nick) Barker of Nashville, Emily Hall of Carrollton and Joseph (Meghan) Hall of Augusta.

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday January 2, 2021 at 2 PM in the Poplar Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Freddie Stone officiating. Visitation will be Saturday in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service.
