Oddie Shelby Benefield's Obituary
Oddie Shelby Benefield, 83, of Nashville, died Saturday December 14, 2013 at his residence.
He was born June 7, 1930 in Berrien County to the late Willie Elijah Benefield and the late Jeanie Mae Griner. He was a mechanic. He was preceded in death by a son: Edward Benefield.
He is survived by his wife: Minnie Taft Benefield of Nashville; 4 daughters: Vida Benefield of Ray City, Sealitta Bunch of Adel, Teresa Moore of Nashville, Dawn Davis of Nashville, and Alecia Phelgs of Tifton; son: George Benefield of Nashville; 20 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday December 20, 2013 at 2 PM in the Westview Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Bennett officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
