Odie Gregory "Greg" Smith, 63, of Nashville, died Monday June 3, 2019 at his residence.

He was born August 15, 1955 in Dalton, GA to the late Odie Leo Smith and the late Norma Jean Rich Parker. He was in construction and a member of Guthrie Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister: Helen Rebecca "Tootsie" Smith and a brother: Larry Edward Smith.

He is survived by his wife: Christina DeLeon Smith of Nashville; 3 sons: Sean Gregory Smith of Nashville, Alexander Christine Smith of Nashville and Jeremy Smith of Iron Station, NC; daughter: Mandy Smith of Iron Station, NC; adopted daughter: Victoria Evans of Guam; sister: Kay (Terry) Frazier of Nashville; 2 brothers: Richard (Elizabeth) Smith of Fitzgerald and Joe Yother of Dalton; several nieces and nephews.

The family will honor his request for cremation. A memorial service will be held Thursday June 6, 2019 at 7 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Visitation is Thursday one hour prior to the service.
