Olen Lonzo Butler, 86, of Nashville, died Monday March 28, 2022 at his residence.

He was born October 30, 1935 on Mills Branch RD in Kentucky to the late Mason Butler and the late Mable Charlton Butler. He was a retired press operator with Midland Steel in Cleveland, OH, served in the United States Marine Corps and in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife: Charlette Browning Butler who died in 2019 and was also preceded in death by a sister: Rosetta Corns; 4 brothers: Hansel, Vincent, Norman and Noah Butler.

He is survived by 3 daughters: Terri Butler of Willington, OH, Rhonda (Bill) Thomas of Willington, OH and Machaele Fields (Keith Dye) of Nashville; son: Lonnie Wade Butler of Ohio; 2 sisters: Barbara Kitchen of London, KY and Imagene Richmond of Olive Hill, KY; brother: Forest Butler of Vanceburg, KY; 5 grandchildren: Matt Campbell, Billy Hundley, Sharla (Darren) Rife, Sierra Hundley and Francesca (Josh) Fort; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday April 1, 2022 at 4 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
