Ollie Griffin, 93, of Nashville died Thursday September 19, 2013 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born June 28, 1920 in Lawrenceville, GA to the late William Eber Quinn and the late Mattie Lou McGee. She was a homemaker and retired from Nashville Mills in Quality Control. She was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church and the widow of Bayne Griffin who died in 1980. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers: Clinton Quinn, Claude Quinn Winton Quinn, and Hulon Quinn; 2 sisters: Lucille Quinn and Buna Thomas.
She is survived by a daughter: Delaine (S.G.) Solomon of Nashville; a son: Marty Griffin of Nashville; a sister: Claudia Harnage; 3 grandchildren: Chris Solomon, Casey Solomon, and Stephanie Tew; 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday September 21, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Luke and Mr. S.G. Solomon officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
