Osra Blanton's Obituary
Osra Blanton, 79, of Nashville, died Sunday October 9, 2016 in the Berrien Nursing Center.
She was born August 15, 1937 in Lanier County to the late James Pleasant Watson and the late Osra Roberts Watson. She was a homemaker and had worked for Chaparral Boats and Nashville Housing Authority as a bookkeeper. She was of the Baptist faith and the widow of Charlie Homer Blanton, Jr. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: J.P. Watson, Jr and William E. "Bill" Watson; sister: Idell Wetherington.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Judy (Carlos) Vickers of Nashville and Nancy (Earl) Joiner of Sparks; son: Ray Blanton of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Lacey, Kayse, Dalton and Shelby.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 11, 2016 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Futch officiating. Interment will follow in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
