Otha Charles Lee, 85, of Alapaha died Monday November 18, 2013 in the South Georgia Medical Center.

He was born July 3, 1928 in Irwin County to the late Richard Lee and the late Nina Davis. He was a retired foreman with Moore Lumber Company, a member of Alapaha Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife: Charlotte Marion Lee who died in 2001; son: James Edward "Red" Plair; a brother and 2 sisters.

He is survived by 2 daughters: LaDonna Shackleford of Adel and Wilma Flowers of Nashville; 2 brothers: Kenneth (Oveida) Lee of Alapaha and Bill (Barbara) Lee of Alapaha; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home. Interment will be in Beaver Dam Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 on Tuesday.
