Othelle P. McMillan, 83, of Alapaha, died Thursday November 28, 2013 at the Sunrise Health Care in Moultrie.
She was born December 27, 1929 in Berrien County to the late Jake Rayford Parr and the late Leila Ethel Rowe. She was a homemaker and retired teller with the Citizen's Bank in Nashville. She was a member of Flat Creek Church and the widow of Charles McMillan.
She is survived by 2 sons: Barry (Angela) McMillan of Alapaha and Rev. Jimmy (Claire) McMillan of Douglas; 5 grandchildren: Brandon (Nickie) McMillan, Andrea (Clay) Davis, Jennifer Cooper, Jim McMillan, and Jacob McMillan; 4 great granchildren: Callie Cooper, Blaine Cooper, Murphy McMillan, and Lollie McMillan.
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 30, 2013 at 11 AM in Flat Creek Church with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey and Rev. Gary James officiating. Interment will follow in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Visitation is at the church one hour prior to services. In lieu of flowers, make memorials to Flat Creek Church or Edith Baptist Church in Fargo.
