Pastor Raymond Lonnie Cason, 77, of Nashville entered in to his heavenly home on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center.

He was born October 16, 1943 in Byron, GA to the late Lewis Cason and the late Nellie Jane Kight Cason. He was the Pastor of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church for fifteen years. He answered the call to preach at the age of eighteen at Browning's Chapel in Lakeland, GA, was a true pastor for numerous churches, and served them all faithfully in ministry for over 59 years.  He was also a general contractor with General Telephone Co. for 30 years.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Helen Burke Cason of Nashville; daughter: Kim (Rev. Tony) McKinnon of Bixby, OK; two sons: Ray Cason of Blackshear and Judd (Ashley) Cason of Homerville; six grandchildren: Kameron Cason, Kaitlyn (Chris) Baker, Kiley (Aeron) Morris, Kaira McKinnon, Brence Cason and Eli Cason; six great grandchildren: Raylann, Kaisley, Kaibrey, Kamdon, Riley and Peyton; three sisters: Verna Nell Thomas of Valdosta, Myrtle (Tommy) Douglas of Dupont and Latrelle Wyre of Stockton; three brothers: Bill (Patricia) Cason of Blairsville, Ronnie (Faye) Cason of Millwood and Danny (Joyce) Cason of Homerville as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29th from 6 to 8 PM and Friday, October 30th from 10AM to 11AM with the funeral service immediately following at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Tony McKinnon officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Abundant Life Church Youth Building.
