Patricia Dianne “Pat” Laughlin, 82, of Ray City, died Friday, October 9, 2026, in the Langdale Hospice House.

She was born January 14, 1944, in Berrien County to the late Winford Winfield Hayes and the late Leitha Mae DeLoach Hayes. She was a retired cashier with Kmart in Valdosta and a member of Forest Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her family, shopping, watching TV, traveling and her animals.

She is survived by her husband: Bruce Laughlin of Ray City; daughter: Deon (Bill) Baltrus of Valdosta; son: Donald (Melanie) Fussell of Lake Butler, FL; 2 grandsons: Andrew (Katrina) Chaney of Valdosta and Ashley (Rachel) Chaney of Madison, TN; 4 great grandchildren: Karley, Kipton, Ramona and Georgeanna; numerous cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 2 PM in the Forest Hill cemetery with Mr. Jerry DeLoach and Mr. Billy Crowley officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, in the cemetery thirty minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Berrien County Humane Society or St. Jude’s.
