Patricia Louise Barrentine, 76, of Nashville died Wednesday September 10, 2025, at her residence.

She was born December 1, 1948, in Athens, Ga to the late Felton Lamar Rentz and the late Helen Dunlap Rentz. She was a homemaker and graduate of Valdosta State University. She was an instructor for Val-Tech and Berrien Middle School and was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother: David Rentz.

She is survived by her husband: Earl Barrentine of Nashville; 2 daughters: Melanie (Randall) Hooley of Conyers and Angela Bannister of Nashville; son: Chris (Darlene) Barrentine of Nashville; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters: Kay Bennett of Sylvester and Rita Gandy of Valdosta; brother: Keith Rentz of Edgewater, FL.

Funeral services will be held Saturday September 13, 2025, at 11 AM in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Dunlap officiating. Interment will follow in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held in the funeral home Friday from 6:30 – 8:30 PM.
