Patricia Ann "Pat" Chaney, 80, of Nashville, died Sunday April 30, 2023 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born March 28, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Dewitt Cribbs and Annie Ruth Parker Cribbs. She retired from VSU as a financial clerk and was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Joseph Donzell "Joe" Chaney who died in 2018 and was also preceded in death by a brother: Ervin Cribbs.

She is survived by 2 sons: Don (Pam) Chaney of Hahira and Keith (Loretta) Chaney of Adel; mother: Annie Ruth Cribbs of Jacksonville, FL; brother: Jerry (Roselind) Cribbs of St. Augustine, FL; 3 grandchildren: Lauren Chaney, Drew Chaney and Christopher Arnold; 8 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 20, 2023 at 11 AM in Riverview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Hospice of South GA or ACTO (Alzheimer's Caregivers Time Out).
