Patricia Giddens Gaskins, 71, of Alapaha , died Thursday October 17, 2019 in the Berrien Nursing Center.

She was born April 10, 1948 in Irwin County to the late Leland Giddens and the late Mamie Connell Giddens. She was a homemaker and member of Flat Creek Church. She was the widow of Robert Vinson Gaskins and was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Raymond Grimes.

She is survived by her daughter: Amanda (Dewey) Morris of Savannah; son: Vinson (Jessica) Gaskins of Alapaha; sister: Brenda Grimes of Nashville; 4 grandchildren: Zach Bristol, Grace Ann Morris, Robert Gaskins and Emma Gaskins; 2 nieces: Christy Grimes and Lisa (Jamie) McMillan; great niece: Chloe Holbrook; great nephew: Seth McMillan.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday October 20, 2019 at 4 pm in Flat Creek Cemetery with  Rev. Mark Swain and Rev. Jackie Connell officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 3 pm to 3:30 pm at the funeral home.
